Hello!

I'm Megan, a wife, mom of seven, birth photographer, and adoptive mom. While photography is what brought you here, my story is what shapes the way I see every family I photograph.

For years, my husband and I opened our home to children through foster care. What began as a simple "yes" to helping children in need became one of the most life-changing journeys of our lives. Through that journey, we adopted six of our children. We also welcomed another child into our family through embryo adoption.

Our family was built in beautiful, unexpected ways.

I've experienced the joy of first meetings, courtroom adoption days, birth stories, homecomings, milestones, and all the moments in between. I've witnessed the incredible strength of birth mothers, the courage of adoptive families, and the deep love that exists in every family's unique story.

Those experiences changed me.

They taught me that every story matters. Every beginning matters. Every chapter deserves to be remembered.

That's why I picked up my camera.

As a birth and family photographer, I don't just photograph events; I preserve stories. Whether you're welcoming a new baby, celebrating an adoption, documenting your growing family, or simply wanting to freeze a moment in time, I understand how quickly these moments pass.

The tiny fingers. The nervous anticipation.

The tears of joy.

The first family photo after years of waiting.

The moment a judge says, "It's official."

These aren't just pictures.

They're pieces of your family's legacy.

My goal is to create photographs that allow you to relive these moments for years to come. Images that your children and grandchildren will one day look back on and see the love that surrounded them.

Thank you for being here and taking the time to learn a little about me. In future posts, I'll share stories from adoption, foster care, birth photography, motherhood, and the incredible families I have the privilege of serving.

Whether you're expecting a baby, navigating adoption, or simply wanting to document this season of life, I'd be honored to tell your story.

Because every family has a story worth remembering.

Welcome to mine.

— Megan
